A Suffering God

From my new blog. It’s about Israel, but also about you and me and the rapture and the 2nd amendment. Good times. Check it out if you liked my blog here.

My new blog, peeps! You know you like slightly controversial thoughts about God, Christianity, faith, and politics. So check it! Share it! Please? I need this. I have nothing else.

Just kidding, I’m very fulfilled. But please share this.

My New Blog! GO THERE!!!1

Oh, Sweet Jesus. If you liked my blog here, you’ll like it there. I’ll talk about God, and politics, and faith, and beer, and David Bazan.

New Blog!

I’m not sure if anyone on here even remembers this blog, but I’m going to be launching a new one soon, and writing a lot more.

But it will be on Wordpress. When I’ve got it all set up, I’ll post the link here if anyone’s interested.

Woo!

Kidstreet is playing at our wedding, and I’m pumped. This song is my jam today.

Usually people quoting themselves is an automatic unfollow. I feel highly conflicted about this.

Well, it would have been a text post, but it feel like more of a quote. But I understand. Just follow your heart. Unless your heart is telling you to unfollow.

The sovereignty of God is of no importance to us if He’s not perfectly good and completely compassionate. Who trusts a tyrant? Fearing God’s sovereignty will never inspire the kind of love central to the way of Christ. The sovereignty of God will never produce hope unless we are convinced, above all, of His unfailing goodness. He is good, and He uses His power to establish his goodness in the lives of His children.

Free design resources

Here are some of the design resource sites I use on a very regular basis. I hope you enjoy them.

Lost and Taken – An amazing collection of textures, categorized and high resolution. Some great seamless textures for web use, too.

All-Silhouttes – A great site for vectors. They focus on black silhouette sets, which is a great building block for designs.

Font Squirrel – A hand picked collection of free fonts. It’s like going to a free font site without having to wade through hundreds of awful fonts.

X Stock Video – Completely free stock footage. Usually free video is terrible, but there are some really useful clips in this collection.

Adobe Kuler – Adobe’s handy color tool. Build palettes quickly, and get your RGB, CMYK, and hex codes.

Where in Michigan do you live?! I love MI.

Well, I grew up in Detroit, lived in Grayling and Traverse City, and now reside in Jackson. I love MI…during the summer.

Have I mentioned that I crack myself up?

For some reason I had this idea that you’d left the state. This is embarrassing.

Michigan: the land shaped like a hand that squeezes you with a death grip. You can’t leave Michigan.
